Worklife is a piece a cake if...

You got a super supportive husband! =) 

When my husband said that we have to pack our bags to come back here in the Philippines, my first question in my head was, will I get work there? It took a while for me to adjust being a working girl to becoming a full-time housewife. 

I knew I was not born to just bake and cook so I thought of pursuing what I want to do and that is to write. I applied for writing gigs online hoping to just take it easy and work from home. 

Little did I know that working from home is no different when you work in an office. Since I was without work for a year, it took a while for me to get into the groove of things. I get so stressed with the deadlines and workload. It was a lot of pressure for me that I got sick on my first work week!

I knew I had to shake it off and my husband's sister recommended taking Fern-C as a vitamin supplement. Vitamin C? Hmm.. I am acidic so I was not really keen in drinking it until I found out that since it is not Ascorbic Acid but rather Sodium Ascorbate! I decided to give it a try and noticed a few changes after a week or so. I felt like I got an immunity boost. 

For a few months of taking Fern-C, I noticed that I am not sickly anymore. Also, my focus on my work is better though there are still days when I feel stressed especially when you are given a lot of articles to write. 

What I do is I plan my day ahead. I make a list of what I want to accomplish for the day so that I am focused to complete the task given to me. Since I work from home, my source of inspiration is just nearby, my husband. If I feel too stressed and would want to have a bit of a time-out. I will just ask him for a "power hug" and I feel energized again.

Weird as it may but it really boost my energy level from zero to full charged. Of course, any kind of power hug will not protect your body from pollutants and bacteria lurking in or outside your home which is why I have Fern-C to thank on that.

I am psyched because I got picked to have a chance to get invites for the upcoming Blogopolis 4D which will be held this Saturday, Feb 27 2016 at Green Sun, Makati.

All Day Breakfast with Early Bird

Friends know that my husband and I love to eat out. I guess it is a giveaway because when we were still living in Dubai, I would always post our eat out in Instagram and hubby will always check-in via Facebook.

So when we have finally set foot here in the Philippines for good, friends and family have been giving us names of restaurants that we should try and Early Bird Breakfast Club always comes up. I have also seen it in my Instagram feed and I have to say their food presentation is A-class.

Hubby and I decided to give it a try and headed down to their restaurant.

I am inlove with their Italian Almond Tea. I think I will be consuming more of this and switching my cafe lattes for this drink. Their Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup was divine.

Of course, Instagram worthy foods need to be delicious or else they will only look sumptuous in pictures. I can guarantee you that the Early Bird menu is good that I want to try out different meals until I eat them all!

I actually have to thank OpenSnap for all those drool-worthy pictures I saw that I had to waste no time and ask the hubby to get the car for us to look and try out this restaurant!

Do you...

use your blog to gain revenue?

I do... or I think it's better to say that I try.

Yeap, I have linked my blog to generate revenue via Google Adsense and Nuffnang. It must be me... because when I have checked both accounts, I do not have enough to celebrate with a Mcdo meal (yes, even with the cheapest one or the kiddie meal).

Another reason can probably be because I am not that familiar with SEO writing. Yes, I should read more about it but I haven't done that yet - why? I don't know... (saying that makes me feel I am not really that productive)... wait! I know!! It's because I am being called by my oven to bake! I will try and post my products soon!

So, it's my fault.

I hope... I hope I can turn things around ;-)

Pardon for the hashtag title but I am really feeling that right now! :)

I have been on a short break from my laptop (had to sort out something about our car and at the same time, had to carry out daughter / wife duties -- gorcery!!) so imagine my excitement / surpise/ joy when I saw that I already got a +amount in my Nuffnang account. 

To be quite honest, it is not a big amount (I don't think I can even buy anything from the amount that I have received but seeing that just means, there is something to look forward to in my blogging career! Hahaha!! 

I am not sure if I understand it right... if I divert readers to their websites or they do to me but in case, it just means that someone / somebody (thanks to you) visit/ visits my blog!! 

How cool is that?? 

Can you imagine people reading about me... about my thoughts... about what I think about the current events or just about anything! :)
